Top Cycling Routes in Colorado Springs, Colorado

1. Garden of the Gods Loop (Easy to Moderate)
Distance: ~2.3 miles to the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center
One of the most iconic rides in Colorado Springs, Juniper Loop takes you through the breathtaking red rock formations of Garden of the Gods. With smooth pavement, with hills and some climbs, and jaw-dropping scenery, it's a must-do ride for cyclists perfect to do via e-bike. For an extra challenge, pair it with the climb up Ridge Road (recommended for fat tire e-bikes and gravel cyclists)

2. Midland Trail to Downtown Colorado Springs (Easy)
Distance: ~4 miles to Olympic & Paralympic Museum and another ~.5 miles to Downtown COS
If you're looking for a more leisurely ride, the Midland Trail offers a scenic and smooth route that takes you from the Lodge to downtown Colorado Springs. You'll pass historic railroad sites and enjoy a relaxing ride before reaching America the Beautiful Park and the Olympic & Paralympic Museum. 3. Red Rock Canyon Open Space (Mountain Biking)
Distance: Varies ~2.5 miles to Red Rock Canyon Open Space before hitting the trails
Mountain bikers will love the trails at Red Rock Canyon Open Space. With a mix of singletrack and wider trails, riders can explore red sandstone cliffs, rolling hills, and scenic overlooks just minutes from the Lodge. Class 1 e-bikes are allowed on the Mountain Biking Trails in Red Rock Canyon Open Space.

4. Gold Camp Road (Gravel/Adventure Riding)
Distance: ~8 miles to the tunnel (one way) ~12.5 miles to Sacred Grounds Cafe
For gravel and adventure riders, Gold Camp Road offers a fun mix of dirt roads and old railroad tunnels. This ride features a climb of 1,400 feet with rewarding views, making it a great choice for those who want a mix of history and adventure.
