Join us for the fourth annual Walk, Run or Roll for Daniel presented by LYME Events.
When you think about what Daniel’s been through in the past 4 years with 6 brain surgeries, 48 days of radiation, a year of chemo and countless MRIs and testing, we hope you won’t miss out on the opportunity, no matter what the weather, to celebrate this brave 15 year old who keeps on smiling and just wants to raise and give money for the Children’s Hospital Colorado for research to find a cure! Daniel, now 15, has been in a 4 year battle with brain cancer. At 11 years old he rode up Pikes Peak on a unicycle just months before doctors discovered the first brain tumor. He’s since had 6 brain surgeries and 48 days of radiation and is currently on chemo to keep a brain tumor from growing. The good news is so far the treatments are doing their job and he’s doing well. He’s an inspiring young man to all who meet him. This Fundraiser will benefit Daniel’s Fund to help provide adventure opportunities, travel, some wants and savings for future medical needs and care.

The 15mile Bike Ride departs Legacy Loop Plaza at 9:00 am and travels the Cascade Bike Lanes to Colorado Ave and heads west to the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort where you will be served waffles and hot chocolate before returning to the Plaza for the post-ride festivities.
The 5k Walk/Run starts promptly at 10:00 am using the Legacy Loop Trail along Fountain Creek. This course is stroller friendly and suited for kids of All ages.
