Front Desk Agent/Bartender
Currently hiring Front Desk Guest Services & Bar/Event position for 47-room independent, boutique lodging property near Garden of the Gods.
We are anticipating a busy tourist season and we host a lot of fun on-site activities and events. We are looking for someone to join our team who can do it all and keep their cool under pressure. Must be willing to work 30 – 40 hours per week including weekends and especially busy holidays.
Previous hotel front desk experience is a plus with experience using Expedia, Booking.com, AirBnB and other online reservation systems as well as Microsoft Office and Excel knowledge. The number one priority for this position is assisting guests in making and managing their reservations. Main duties include answering any phone calls, returning messages, email correspondence, greeting guests at the front desk, answering any questions, recommending activities and restaurants to guests, and serving continental breakfast and bartending is also required.
Must have exceptional customer service and a consistent positive attitude and genuine friendliness, have excellent interpersonal skills and work well with others as part of a team. The ability to multitask with great attention to detail and a strong work ethic is required as well as a willingness to pitch in and help wherever needed on property. This position is also required to keep all areas of the lodge clean, help set up events and light maintenance. Must be physically fit and able to spend long periods of time standing and able to lift 40 lbs. The ideal candidate is someone who will take initiative and can see and do what needs to be done without having to be asked.
The Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort is family owned and operated and is a super fun, healthy work environment. We have a great local community of support and organize many community events and gatherings. We are looking for someone with a passion for providing hospitality and a familiarity with our area and tourist attractions.
Starting Pay: $13.50 – $14.50 per hour depending on related experience.
Housekeeping
Currently hiring a Housekeeping position for a 47-room independent, boutique lodging property near Garden of the Gods.
Must be willing to work 20 – 40 hours per week including weekends and especially busy holidays. Hours vary depending on occupancy. Hiring preference for people with previous hospitality experience.
Deep clean rooms in a timely fashion to have ready for new guests. Wash and fold laundry daily. Maintain outside areas of the property, pick up trash. Our housekeeping staff also helps look after our pool area and outdoor spaces.
We are looking for people who take pride in creating and maintaining beautiful, clean, comfortable spaces for our guests and pay great attention to detail while working quickly and efficiently. Must have a good work ethic and be able to work well with others as part of a team. This is a VERY PHYSICAL JOB and you must be fit and able to spend long periods of time standing. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Light maintenance skills and ability to be handy are a big plus.
