FAQ

Must I pay in advance?

We typically charge a 1st night deposit to the credit card provided at the time of reservation (refundable with 48 hours cancellation notice). Balance is due at check-in. We accept credit cards (matching your ID) and cash. If paying with a “debit card” or cash, we require an additional $250 refundable damage deposit. Visa gift cards and 3rd party payments are not accepted.

Do you allow pets?

Dogs are only allowed in rooms designated as “Dog Friendly” for an additional $25 fee. These rooms are very popular and limited- please call direct to reserve 719-634-2851.  Animals are not allowed in regular rooms (to respect people with allergies) and a $250 cleaning fee will be assessed if this rule is broken.

Do you have any special offers?

Yes! If you are a return guest, we gladly offer a 10% discount for booking direct. Please call 719-634-2851 to book & receive your discount.

Where can I smoke?

Smoking of any kind (including oil vaping, marijuana, candles & incense) is strictly prohibited inside all rooms. A $250 cleaning fee will be charged if there is evidence of smoking in the room.  Please do not smoke within 15 feet of any guest room and the Lodge Lobby. Dispose cigarette butts appropriately (not on the ground). City Officials occasionally enforce outdoor smoking & burning bans in the summer months to prevent fires.

What if I’m not a bike rider?

You don’t need to be a cyclist to stay with us. The Buffalo Lodge is the perfect location to begin any adventure in the Pikes Peak Region and everyone is welcome! There are a plethora of amazing tourist attractions and activities to enjoy during your stay. We are centrally located at the base of Pikes Peak between the popular tourist towns of Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs for great shopping and dining opportunities and dozens of area attractions including the Garden of the Gods. If you don’t have a bike, we would love to invite you to try it and connect you to an opportunity to explore our city and trails by bicycle, it’s a fantastic way to take it all in.
